Product introduction:
The opening and closing parts of the globe valve are plug shaped disc, sealing surface is flat or cone, disc along the center line of the fluid for linear motion. The movement of the stem may be in the form of a raised stem (stem up and down, hand wheel not up and down) or a raised rotary stem (hand wheel up and down with the stem, nut in the valve body). Globe valves are only suitable for full open and full close. No regulation or throttling is allowed.
The globe valve is a forced sealing valve, so when the valve is closed, pressure must be applied to the disc to force the sealing surface not to leak. When the medium from the lower part of the disc into the valve, the operation force to overcome the resistance, is the friction of the stem and packing and the pressure of the medium produced by the thrust, the force of closing the valve than the force of opening the valve, so the diameter of the stem should be large, otherwise it will occur the fault of the stem top bending. In recent years, since the appearance of the sealing valve, the flow direction of the globe valve medium is changed from the upper part of the disc into the valve chamber, at this time, under the action of the medium pressure, the force to close the valve is small, and the force to open the valve is large, the diameter of the valve stem can be reduced accordingly. At the same time, under the action of the medium, this form of valve is also more rigorous. Our country valve "three group" once stipulated, the flow direction of the globe valve, all from top to bottom. When the globe valve is opened, the opening height of the disc, 25% ~ 30% of the nominal diameter, the flow has reached the maximum, indicating that the valve has reached the fully open position. So the full open position of the globe valve, should be determined by the stroke of the disc.
